Duckweed Control is a naturally formulated product that will help to prevent the growth and spread of troublesome duckweed. It removes nutrients key to the growth of the most common species of duckweed (lemna minor) so that once existing weed has been removed its return is inhibited. Duckweed Control will not harm fish, wildlife or other plant life within the pond. Dosage: 25 mls per 450 litres (100 gallons) initial dose, then 10 mls per 450 litres weekly until duckweed disappears. Shake the bottle well and then add to a watering can or bucket of pond water 25 mls for every 450 litres (100 gallons) of water to be treated. Mix well and pour evenly over pond surface. Continue to dose 10 mls per 450 litres weekly to help prevent the re-growth of the duckweed. The dosage chamber on the bottle makes it easy to measure the quantity required.
